We are focused on providing our diverse clients with innovative solutions including technical analysis and development. We are looking to bring on an integral team member to provide support for an existing project. You will function as an integral member of the IPv6 program team for a federal agency. Overall, the IPv6 team is responsible to provide assessment, planning, designing, development, deployment, training, and transition to operations activities related to migrating the existing agency environment away from IPv4 to IPv6. In this role, the test engineer is expected to design, develop, test, and implement technical integration solutions that meet both the functional and nonfunctional requirements (including architectural, security, performance, and accessibility requirements) as defined by the agency IPv6 Roadmap or Maturity Model and the approved functional and nonfunctional requirements documentation.

Examples of anticipated responsibilities:

• Performance of User experience and user interface testing (UX/UI).
• Performance of Compatibility testing with agency-approved environments and devices.
• Performance of Security, Privacy, Accessibility/Section 508 Compliance, and Performance testing
• Consults with the development and/or requirements team to coordinate and test applications.
• Develops testing procedures.
• Develops test plans, scripts, scenarios, functional tests, regression tests, and deployment tests.
• Implements the testing processes and ensures all test activities follow those processes. Produces reports on each test activity and tracks test metrics.
• Monitors for continual test process improvement through failure analysis, throughput analysis, yield analysis, and report to management periodically.
• Evaluate agency current architecture, services, hardware, and software to design and develop a plan to implement and test new virtual IPv6 environment and transition the existing end users from IPv4 to IPv6.
• Provide briefings to Senior staff and executives as required.
• Provide support for project audits as required.


Required Skills and Experience:

• BA/BS degree with 14+ years of experience

• Active Secret Security Clearance

• NextGen Firewalls, specifically Palo Alto/Panorama

• Familiarity with Network Cloud Constructs

• Azure VNET Peering

• AWS Network Security Groups

• Familiarity with various routing protocols (i.e., OSPF, BGP, etc)

• Familiarity with IPsec, VPN, VDI, Netscaler, and TIC 2.0/3.0

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• 10-15 years of Enterprise Business and Enterprise Level Testing experience within a government environment.

• 5 years of direct experience testing infrastructure, systems, and applications on the IPv6 protocol.

• This individual will have experience supporting the execution and reporting of various enterprise level verification and validation activities. This includes, but is not limited to, Unit and Integration Testing, Smoke Testing, System Testing, Regression Testing, End-to-end Testing, Acceptance Testing, Security Testing, Accessibility Testing, Performance Testing, Usability Testing, Compatibility Testing, and Recovery Testing.

• This individual will have experience developing test plans.

• This individual will require at least a CCNA level knowledge.

• This individual will have experience testing cloud enabled applications.
